Cousins is shooting 39%, that's bad for a guard, it's abysmal for a big. His rebound and block numbers aren't much better than Jordan Hill, and he averages 6.2 fouls per 36 minutes. On top of that he is basically universally acknowledged to have a poor attitude, I was never a fan and as you can tell I'm still not. Tyreke Evans is Steve Francis 2.0, can't win as a featured player. I love Landry, but he's a free agent after the year, he's not all that young (28 next year), and at this point doesn't really have upside. Considering Scola, Hill and Patterson, he doesn't make much sense. Udrih and Casspi are good players, but nothing special. Unless they can get a third team involved, they don't have anything worthy of AB, IMO.
Y'all still don't get it. Kevin Love does not solve the problem of guards, forwards and centers easily getting layups in the paint just about whenever they want to.
jason thompson inconsistent offensively, but the rockets could most definately use his offensive boards and size.
do you honestly think the wolves are gonna give us love that easily after that 30/30 game he had awhile back??????
If we are trading Brooks, it will be to get a better player (think Iguodala type), not a rookie or player with potential. Brooks will not be the best player in the trade if and when he is traded.
i can see it now... that 30/30 games lands him a huge contract with some team where he leads them to mediocrity for 10 years.
Would you do a trade that would send center around brooks going to sac, thompson and hill going to philly, and a.i coming to houston? You would need to use jeffries, battier, and someone from sac to fill out the trade.
It'll be a steal for us, considering our lack of size and legit centers. Cousins and Hill + PP is a dangerous developing frontcourt.
Technically not untouchable, but I bet their asking price is higher than the moon. He's a beast. I'd happily trade any player on our roster for him.
