I want the team to try but fail. I dont think they're very talented so this is very likely.....

 

The sad thing is we could easily be 7-3 and on pace to go 11-5.

Same story as last season.

 

Crazy as it sounds, with the division the way it is the Texans could come out alright.

But I just worry that they'll end up medicore/middle ground again, not get a few lucky bounces at the end of the year again, and we'll be stuck with the same coaching staff and the same song and dance next season.

 

"Just not kind to them"? WHA??? Are we watching the same team? Batting that ball down RIGHT to a Jaguar was pretty 'flukey' but we're talking about the Jags. We should have been destroying them anyway...shouldn't have even BEEN a close game if we want to call ourselves a playoff team.

Other than that ONE play, what else has been bad luck? The Jets drive? That wasn't bad luck, that was bad pass coverage. The GLARINGLY obvious uber-weakness of this team. Combine that with poor coaching, studs turning into duds all over the roster and an owner not willing to admit that the shi-ite has hit the proverbial fan and you've got what the Texans are: a bad organization.

 

we could also be 3-7 had the redskins receiver caught that bomb or the kicker had made the field goal.

the if game in the NFL is silly...because every team can inflate or deflate their record with it.

 

i honestly don't think that's going to happen this year. we're not going to "lose out." but we're a special kind of bad this season.
