I agree something needs to be done. I don't agree that a minor trade like Hill for someone like Anthony Randolph is going to do it though. This team looks terrible no matter who is in the lineup, it's early so I don't think Morey is going to blow up this team yet but I think it needs to be done.

IT's OK. I'd expect Yao to be injured and now the rockets are playing a different style. Defense is horrible and the offense is somewhat sloppy. What I think is that we need to change the starting line-up. The way I see the game play is that Scola does too much for this team. He's the guy that puts the rockets in the game.

AB has the most up side. Is he the best player in this team? Hard to decide if he is better than Scola.

Suddenly everyone found a dream combo! Wake up people. The combo worked only because we played Suns which is not known for interior defense. With most other teams, Miller will have to stay out of the paint to be effective. And Scola has to be there for a decent interior presence. The combo can only be used situationally.

Well at least we're not the Heat losing to Indiana at home with 3 superstars...

let's play the young guys and develop, things can't get any worse than this, just develop and get a higher draft

    everybody now sees the problem.

Wasn't surprised to see some of the starters close out the game.... and lose. Of course Nash didn't help matters.

I don't think Blake Griffin could save this team, nor Yao/Brooks. Griffin also really sucks at free throws...

In other words, Adelman saw a matchup that favored his team and played it. That's what coaches do.

Of course it's not a permanent answer, but he made the right call with the personnel he had to work with. He deserves a little credit for that, despite the loss.

I don't understand what people are hoping for when they say the Rockets might still turn it around. Turn it around to what? Even if they start playing better ball, this start has pretty much guaranteed they will be struggling all year to squeak into the playoffs (if that even happens).

Freaking eh. We were on our way to 0-5 with AB. What don't you get?

Our problem is not centered around the PG position. We need a star at the 3 and adding another big wouldn't hurt either. Yes, AB would help but we have many other issues.

Kyle went 6-10 from the field with 8 assists, 1 turnover, and 6 steals tonight.

Because like I said earlier this year and I'm sure many other posters have said, Adelman rotates based on how much of a veteran you are... Chuck is a vet so therefore he gets "priority" however much it might be a wrong match-up.

The Rockets' box score looks misleadingly good.

Just watched the game. It was totally unnecessary to take Lee, Ish and Budinger out the game for Battier and the others. Lee was scorching, Battier was scuffling badly. That killed the flow right there.

Rockets are still too slow and methodical in their sets. It takes forever to work toward the 1 magic backdoor cut. They fare better in an up and down game.

I think alot of us are hurt because we had so many high expectations for this season. So far Scola is the only one who is living up to those expectations. I truly feel sorry for him.
