Martin was not bought in to be a go-to guy, he was bought in to a team built around Yao.

His game would theoretically complement Yao very well.

I like Landry alot, and there is no question that Landry is more reliable in late game situations, but Martin is a better overall basketball player. He is an ideal second/third option for any team.

If Yao were healthy, Yao + Scola + Martin + Brooks couldn't work, all had no defense, every game lost 110.

Morey was against signing Miller. The Lee trade was on Les for wanting to get under the LT. It's not Moreys fault that Lee has underperformed this year or that Chase is having a sophomore jinx(hopefully).

To me, Adelman. I'm not blaming him for everything, but in regards to the question, I believe he is more at fault than Morey. Reason being that I firmly believe that the GM's job is to go get the talent, and it is up to the coach to put that talent in a system that works. I know we have enough talent to have more than 3 wins in the first 13 games, so I think it has something to do with Adelman and his system.

Yao can clog the lane. Battier is supposed to be a great perimeter defender.

And offensively, Yao would create so many opportunities for the other guys.

Morey knows what he is doing, he isn't just blindly collecting talent.

And I put alot of the blame on Adelman, today was a perfect example of it.

    SERIOUSLY ON TODAY.

The second Battier came in for Lee, my face hit my palm.

This current Roster was brought in to win without Yao. They may have wanted to find players to fit around him but not sure if that made sense.

Yao excels in a half court game, AB/KM/Lowry/CBUD/C.Lee/ do not fit that model. I never understood how they fit???? Just because they can shoot a jumpshot?

Never! Not as long people keep posting knee-jerk threads that say the same thing: OUR TEAM SUCKS!

You don't see how a bigman can improve the game of perimeter players?

Having a dominant bigmen can open up opportunities on the perimeter, make it easy for guards to cut to the basket. As well as a MAJOR help on the defensive end.

There is no way in hell I am believing that this team is built to win without Yao. They have no stars and the defense is utter ****. That midseason deal was one made anticipating the return of Yao.

Blame McGrady, Yao and Bosh not giving a crap about an Ipad before I blame Morey or Adelman.

As much as I would like to agree with the first part here, I can't say I do. The key word you used there was a DOMINANT bigman, which I don't think Yao is anymore. He's lost a big step or two, and his level of play has decreased steadily recently.

Not sure if you guys are being sarcastic, but Tracy was the reason the Rockets won 50 plus games for 3 seasons. If it weren't for him, the Rockets would not have Kevin Martin. With only Scola this team would get blown out every night.

    I blame Shane Battier.

I'll go with the third option: Tracy McGrady, for not rehabbing with dedication after his first knee surgery a couple of years back.

I blame the lack of physical and mental toughness. Two years ago we had some tough minded people. We need and enforcer who can fire up the team. This was my biggest worry about this roster at the beginning of the season. Problem is that the PGs we have plus Kmart and an aging Battier just aren't cutting it. Add in the fact that Yao's out and we've got no defense.

McGrady handicapped this team for 2 seasons and without Kevin we might be 2-11 instead of 3-10.

Oh and yea I agree, blame Battier!!!
