Ha...when I was at Whataburger, my friend wanted to try it. The cashier told us NOT to buy it and advised us to buy a different pie, ROFL. We got it anyways and he said it wasn't good. When your own employees don't recommend it...it must be pretty awful.
So they got the strawberry, cherry, lemon, apple, and now the chocolate pie. It's just a matter of time that they have the whipped cream and jalapeƱo pie.
Mmmmm... yummy. I will try it soon. :O The one by Addicks-Satsuma? What sort of sales person advises AGAINST their own place?
It tasted nothing like a brownie, it was just fried chocolate pudding Mcdonalds nees to bring back the baked sweet potato pies those were awesome
Employees at Whataburger are not salespeople. They get paid by the hour. When I worked at Quizno's I advised people against certain items all the time, especially if they were regulars. If anything, it keeps customers coming back since they know they can get a straight answer from the employees, instead of just recommending every promotional item or the most expensive thing on the menu.
^ Why do you work at a place where you will advise people against buying there? I mean, it pays your salary! Of course, make them buy your stuff! No? I don't mean to say "they're wrong" but... just... it seems contradictory.
Yeah it's a fairly standard thing at most sit down restaurants, most good servers will give you a good heads up on what's good and not.
