Happy Birthday to McGinley. She's registered, but never posted. Nonetheless, she's a great gal. I should know...she's my sister.

    :D

Happy Birthday to RM95's sister! He's kind of weird, but I'm sure that's not your fault. :D

Ok, I have to make a stand here...

Married With Children did NOT jump the shark when Ted McGinley came on! This is the one exception to the Ted McGinley rule...Jefferson D'Arcy was a lot cooler than that dork Steve Rhodes. The D'Arcy's were the yang to the Bundy's yin, with the wife being the hard working bread-winner and the husband beign the lazy oaf that sat around all day and did nothing. That show had some of their most classic moments with Ted McGinley on the cast. Even when Buck the dog died, the show carried on and had some solid episodes. It might have went on a season or two too long, but overall it's still the second best TV show of all time, IMO...

Does anyone know why David Garrison (Steve Rhoades) left Married With Children?

I saw the E! True Story on the show but missed the part about Garrison. IMO, the show was a lot better with Jefferson D'arcy (Ted McGinley) than with Steve Rhoades.

David left the show to further his Broadway career. He was not fired, he bought out his own contract.

I agree about D'arcy. I thought his chemistry with Al made the show much better than with Garrison.
