It's also shows that stereotypical, myopic American-centric approach to life in general. For those, everything has to be shiny new and raison d'etre? Success in Business. And when they're on their deathbed...
Bump Anyone here with ties to Pakistan (and none to India) ever been to India? I'm thinking of visiting (tourism) sometime within the next year, but am wondering if it'll be difficult to get a tourist visa. My background: US Citizen, born in the US, parents are both US citizens, but they were born and raised in Pakistan (moved to the US 30 years ago). I've been to Pakistan three times (when I was 1 year old, 17 years old, and 22 years old) -- my current US passport does not have a Pakistani visa in it.
at least you dont have to get naked body scanned and sexually molested to visit those other countries! seriously though, i know several people who have visited india and a few who have lived there, either for work or graduate school, and they all loved it. my grandmother is from bangalore so id definitely like to visit the country at some point in my life.
I haven't slept well all week, and it's catching up with me. I thought this thread said I'm going to Indiana tomorrow. Anyway, despite what some have said of the place so far, hope you have fun.
You know it's the only country that still has the plague? i mean the plague, please! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_sUMtHcUMWo?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_sUMtHcUMWo?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
You know what? You're right. You also know what? You're ignorant and have no right to be trashing on other peoples land and way of life.
There are multiple cases of the bubonic plague in humans annually in the USA - it is specifically endemic to animal populations in New Mexico and the rest of the southwest.
Well, for one, it was made 4 years ago, so I really don't think anybody is offended ANYMORE. However, that's just plain asinine to not see why somebody would be offended by it anyways.
lol...all these have fun posts....the OP was from 2006. I'll be in KSA next year...and hopefully working in Bahrain.
So weird that all these Clutchfans are coming to Saudi Arabia. In the 4 years i've lived here its rained less than 5 times.
