Sorry to burst your bubble, but Kevin has post moves; and being thin as a twig never stopped English, Salley, Rodman, Prince, Miller from being effective (in the post). Reggie Miller used to have problems getting calls in the fourth too, until Indiana decided to iso him and force officials to make calls. Anyway, there's a lot to complain about on the current team, but Kevin Martin's production is not one of them.
The Real Answer: Bring in someone else that can help Kevin Martin score in the 4th quarter. Kevin Martin has been fine, but if we rely on him the whole game and then expect him to carry the load by himself in the 4th... this team is not going to be very successful.
He will be in first half form in the 2nd half. He is usually great in the first half, instead, he will be in that state of mind in the 2nd half. He gets banged up in the first 3 quarters causing his performance in the 4th quarter to greatly decline (where we need him most).
I say its better than: Fire Morey Trade Scola Trade KMart Gut the entire roster and pick up a bunch of D-Leaguers
Show me one video of KM doing post moves and I'll believe you, and everyone you just mentioned was very strong, they were just built lanky. KM is not strong and he can't establish position. and i wasn't criticizing his production, I was merely pointing out that he can't post up for very obvious reasons.
Good Lord. Why on earth would you want your best shooter and best player who moves without the ball posting up? Makes no sense. You folks need to learn to appreciate Martin's game. He's our top scorer and yet you want to change him into someone else?
