Yeah, if a trade does happen, I would expect it to come sometime around February. I see no advantage for a team to make a trade with Houston at this point in time.

Yeah you're right. It doesn't matter who starts and who gets benched. Every single player is either a defensive or offensive liability. We have too many one dimensional players. A topic that is talked about a lot around these parts.

I was thinking that as I was watching the 4th quarter collapse. Yeah Scola is putting up great numbers and all, but Landry would put up numbers down the stretch when no one else could.

Oh don't worry, the worst team projected to get #1 hardly gets it anyways. If Knicks keep the same pace as the Rockets, Rockets will have a great shot at getting a good pick.

I also don't agree that this is a bad year to have a top 5 pick, because I think the draft is just top heavy that's all. Kyrie, Perry, and Barnes can all be great players in this league, i'm really digging Barnes although he had a mediocre game last game.

wow...you know you are in trouble when the fans are screaming to play JJ.

I did not watch the game tonight, but personally I don't blame RA. Its hard for any couch to trust younger players, especially when they are playing like crap.

anyway....have faith....we should be able to still make the playoffs. But is that really what we want? with yao being questionable coming back next year, or at least being the alpha dog, wouldn't not making the playoffs this year be more beneficial for the team in the long run. offcourse as fan it sucks to be loosing all the time, but considering it would probably result in another 1st round exit, is that of any good? We need a change of direction, quick. I know a lot of fans on here love ab, but he is not going to be our answer in the future. we need a true 1st option. Obviously that is easier said than done, would love to get rid of some of these 'assets' in return of someone who we can really build around in the future. our core of shane, martin, ab, yao, scola, cbud and lee will not get the job done in the post season.

I didn't watch the game tonight. I watched the Horns instead.

So why did Ish only play around 8 minutes tonight? Was Lowry playing real well? I don't get it.

As critical as I have been about Battier's decline in the last 2 years, I would like to give credit for his play today. In fact, Battier seemed to be the only one who gave a farking darn out there. Got burned a bit in the 1st quarter, but overall played a good game, ending as the only Rocket player who finished with a +.

i don't know what happened to our coach RA. he might have been too old to coach a team in such a intensive NBA league. he totally lost his creativity and no energy/effort to put on the team/player/plans/etc.

Rick Adelman is tired of rebuilding. He wants to go to another team that has the athletic young players but a poor coach that he can replace. He's thrown his towel in this season in preparation.

Well, it is dissapointing. You all keep saying that we had the leadt in the 3rd and we 'just' didn't execute down the stretch. Hell no. We've lost probably 99% of those games where we had the lead in the 3rd and lost it big time in the 4th. Great teams aren't in close games, good teams find a way to win them when it counts and bad teams lose them all no matter how big lead they have. Let's face it - We Suck badly. I mean, really badly.

I kinda agree with DD that we need Brooks back. As for Yao I am not sure. I can even say I don't think we are better with him than without. But let's see. We were 0-5 in those games where Brooks played. We didn't win a single game. Sure, the schedule was tougher and we were playing elite teams on their floors. but AB has kinda been struggling too. He didn't shoot the ball well, he was killed on the defensive end. So to say that once we get Brooks back we are gonna be fine is kinda silly to me. Sure we are gonna get better, but not THAT better.

We've lost games in Washington, in Toronto, in places that we never should have lost.

As far as I'm concerned Hill needs to play. Who the hell cares about Miller? He had few good games and what? Scola, Miller give you NO shot blocking and that is why guards just get to the basket with no fear. You have a good, solid young center who you can develop maybe into something special - why not do that coach Adelman?

I mean really, Adelman's decision have been at least weird this season. I don't know what he is thinking, but he is not thinking in the right direction IMO.

And I know it is the worst year to suck and tank, but looks like we are not in the playoffs again this season.

And our bench, they were supposed to be really the best in the NBA. In fact, you have Lowry playing without control, Chase missing every jumper he takes, and Lee struggling as well.

    Frustrating season, guys.

 My question is why on earth is linas kleiza not in a rockets uniform. I remember back in his old denver days those times he scored 30 and 40+ points and still rebound and play solid D thinking why is this guy not starting even as a power forward over kenyon Martin? Or better yet, why is JR Smith coming off the bench before him...He did a solid job tonight and made us look like idiots out there.

I just don't know what to say.

TMI? Pics or GTFO? .... Link?

I think we should explore this idea a little bit, but ... maybe in the Hangout. And part of me thinks we should leave it alone.

Well, this is pretty much rock bottom; actually, no one to look down on but the Clippers and that may be short lived. The team is missing AB badly, but there are more problems than just that. Frankly, my expectations of Yao have fallen to an all time low. Another two weeks!? He may never be back and if he does come back it likely won't be for long. And remember, this is the Rockets, new players every year and new injuries while you wait, no consistency, no continuity, they might jell, they might not.

It's the curse of Hakeem, I tell you! Never should have let him go to Toronto.
