    Although none of the new players are world-class Grade A players (assuming the deal goes down), the Hornets are doing their best to keep Chris Paul in town. The team would even be able to make a second trade later.

    Hate to see our team further eclipsed but I'm resolved on the Rockets having a mediocre season at best, and that, only if there is some sort of deal after December 15.

    Very lopsided trade in favor of the Raps. Peja's day has passed, but he's still a great spot-up shooter, and Bayless is a very athletic PG with a high ceiling at only 22. Why is Dell Demps even considering making a move at 10-1... the current roster's obviously clicking, why throw a wrench in to the equation?

    Seems like a waste of Peja's expiring contract. Seems like they could get more than Jack for that.

    BTW, this would officially go down as 2 separate trades because Bayless would have to be moved 1 for 1 since he was recently traded. Toronto has exceptions that can swallow his contract, so that's not a problem.

    But thacabbage so emphatically told everyone (or a couple of people at least) that Bayless was better than Brooks in one of his first blog entries. This doesn't make sense.

    Yup. Raptors are winner here. It'll be fun to see a Bayless/DeRozen/Weems lineup. Talk about athleticism.

    It's a good trade for the Hornets. They save some serious cash and get a very solid bench player in Jarrett Jack. He could play both guard positions. Peja is done and Bayless hasn't proved anything in the NBA yet.
