I wasn't...but I may now. I just tuned into ESPN since that's where they are playing. Its only halftimes, so I didn't see the score immediatley. But I saw 45-10 on the bottomline. WOW! How did those 4 TD happend? I'm sure I will see it on ESPN later, but I kind of want to know now.
Any fantasy player with Shaun Alexander on their squad almost has a guaranteed win this week. He needed a strong performance, and I'd say 5 TD in a half qualifies. One more and he ties the NFL single-game record. As for Minnesota - time to break up the Vikings. Who do they deal? Gotta be Moss. I wouldn't be shocked if they "mysteriously" come to terms with Bryant McKinnie at some point this week.
i was down by 36 points in my fantasy league going into this game... (with only shaun alexander left to play) so i thought, ok i lose. WAIT A MINUTE!!! Alexander scores 50 fantasy points in the first half alone! I WIN, I WIN! oh yeah, and in my other fantasy league i'm on a bye... whose on my team you ask? rich gannon (4 tds) stacey mack (2 tds) shaun alexander (5 tds and counting) I HATE BYE WEEKS!
why exactly wasn't randy moss suspended? b/c he was needed in the game? i don't think so. damn he looks lousy out there! too many dropped TD catches!
one of my teams had: trent green (5 TDs, 327 yards) shaun alexander (5 TDs, 231 total yards) tony gonzalez (3TDs, 140 yards) i'm a happy fantasy player tonight (i think i won 7 of the 8 matchups that are decided (either complete or the person in the lead is the only team with a player still to play) and am really close in my other 2 leagues that will be decided tomorrow night.
I just watched a replay of that game...two points... 1) Alexander was playing incredible...it wasn't just that the Vikings were sucking, but he was making some outstanding runs. 2) This just in...Randy Moss is a selfish jerk...did you see him drop that ball in the endzone ( I 'm not sure if it was his 2nd or 3rd dropped td today), which head did have to jump a liitle bit before watching it go clank off his mitts, and then gesture animatedly at Culpepper, indicating where the ball should have been thrown? What an ass...
At 1:30 my team looked dead. i had Kurt Warner. The Miami D and Kevin Johnson who when adding their total score up was a big fat 0. The bright spot then was Tony Gonzales. Then in the afternoon I had Tomlinson and Alexander play. My team scored 93 points and I won 93-40. CK
Yeah, the pass where he gestured at Culpepper was thrown a bit behind him where the defender was but he still should not have shown up his quarterback. Then the very next play Moss dropped a high but easily catchable pass in the endzone.
