What are some of the best or most memorable characters from movies that do not have a starring role or much screen time? I am asking this because I watched Beverly Hills Cop II last night and Inspector Todd's vulgarity and phrases are awesome to me. I know there are plenty of other out there but that character was on my mind when making this thread. Who ya got? Oh and I don't know why but my favorite character from the first Harry Potter film was the Sorting Hat.
That's pretty good, DonkeyMagic. :grin: Whenever someone does the "SORRY FOLKS, Park's CLOSED" hand gesture, I know they've seen the movie. GARY Busey in almost every movie has a good minor character. He's never the star of the movie, but he nails his character. Not just in movies, but in sitcoms, too... there are always ZANY characters that appear once or twice in several episodes... and their roles are just to either annoy, irritate, the heck out of and make make miserable for the main characters. Here's a couple of the ones I mean:
Luis Guzman. He always brings his A game to every film, never gets the credit. My favorite was his role in the Count of monte cristo. Also, that sacarstic chic with the big nose( but I would still hit) that is the sidekick in every romantic comedy. I can't think of her name.
M. Night Shymafmlasmailman's (cameo) roles in all of his movies. Now I'm not saying they're the best roles in movie history. I'm saying that for the most part, his movies are so bad, that his small screen time is actually pretty preferable that watching the whole movie through.
