    Yeah, I can write a paper. If the paper does not get me an "A"? That must be paper's fault because it does not show my stuff well.

    Absolutely... 0-5 with Yao and Brooks didn't fare that poorly against elite competition:

    @LAL: 10-2
    @GSW: 7-4
    DEN: 6-5
    NO: 9-1
    @SAS: 9-1

    TOTAL: 41-13

    Our only 2 bad losses are against Washington on the road and Chicago at home. These games might play out differently if we have Brooks and/or Yao.

    Yeah, I can shoot a basketball. If I miss a shot with 3 seconds left in the game and we lose because of it? That must be the GM's fault for putting me on the court in the first place.

    This is a results business. Morey put this team together, he deserves as much blame as anyone for how bad a team it is.

    Agreed. Morey's job is to put pieces of the puzzle together and he has. They are just not clicking either due to bad chemistry or a coaching issue. If I remember correctly, CF was pretty optimistic that we could take the Lakers this year. I think optimism came from the players that we had in place on the team...

    If you repeat your story 50 times a season, then it is exactly Morey's fault. Morey should find someone who can shoot a 3 in the final seconds, not a crap like you that the coach has to use from time to time.

    What hype did Morey create?

    You shouldn't feel duped. They moved Ariza who was mediocre for a backup SG, which we needed and backup Center which we needed. The combined salary of both those guys was about equal.

    What went wrong? What went wrong? Are you serious? Two of our starters are sidelined, including the one that the whole team is built around. You seriously need an explination?

    We arent entitled to anything from the team.

    I have not lost faith in Morey, yeah some of his moves haven't worked out yet but like many here have said, it's still early. I must say though, i mentioned this in the post game analysis thread, Lee has been awful, almost as if he doesn't belong in the league.

    evryone keeps referring to yao and brooks being out...its not like 0-5 was good when they were available.....i say morey gets this 7 million scrub jeffries and battier...especially battier if he aint scoring he should be playin defense which he now sucks at so screw it he is just takin up space :mad:

    April Fools joke? Uhm, arguably our best player is out with an ankle injury. His backup is not 100%. Yao is hurt. Yet we've still managed to have 4th quarter leads in nearly every game. The talent is still there. The coaching is still there. We will DEFINITELY see exciting Houston Rocket basketball this year. I can't wait for the first 7 or 8 game winning streak to get back into the playoff race.

    In any case, how in the hell are you blaming management for injuries? lmfao.

    You cant win unless you have two starsm we have non. We have great role players, but that wont even get you into the playoffs. Just like last year, just good enough to get a sorry pick in the draft. If we cant make the playoffs, if theres no BIG trade coming then blow up this team. Get rid of Jefferies, Yao, Battier,Brooks Budinger, anyone with value. :( :( :(

    We are not entitled but we should have expectations.

    So has everyone given up on the idea that Morey has stockpiled "assets" in order to make a trade for a difference-maker down the line (ie. this trade deadline or next off-season)?

    Personally, I see this as the team's ultimate goal, and because of this, whether Morey's strategy is a success or a failure is still very much up in the air.

    That is perpostrous. We all know Morey does not wear condoms. Just ask Donnie Walsh.
