LOL - Yeah, by people that agree with yours and his viewpoint. I guess I can live with that, since both Morey and Adelman are on my side of the argument. You guys are getting OWNED by them. LOL. True enough, I guess if Lowry starts we can start aiming for that top pick ! DD
I give up on trying to talk sense with you. Worthless talking to someone so bent on supporting a player that has not led the Rockets anywhere. With Lowry starting and AB providing scoring relief, there is at least the possibility of doing better. History has shown that possibility does not exist with AB and you are just butt hurt and won't acknowledge it.
History has shown that with Brooks as our starting PG we made it to within one game of the WCF. He has nothing to prove. Why you are dismissing that is beyond me.
How do you think I feel, I read what you type and think, that guy loves the Rockets but is missing the boat entirely. It's cool, I respect your right to be wrong. DD
We were on that path with AB starting as well. On our way to 0-5. D'oh! And you said we were contenders even after the news of Yao playing limited minutes. Riiight.
Ya that was with Artest and Battier next to him. You want to keep AB? Fine..trade Martin then. Martin >> AB
Why is it that people think trades are the only solution? Perimeter defense is not as important as people make it out to be. You can mask poor perimeter defense by simply having good bigs who can protect the rim. Pair Hayes with Yao or Scola with Hill in the starting lineup and you will see vast improvements.
I don't like that, because it doesn't make any sense to do that. Having Lowry in place of Brooks isnt going to stop Martin from losing his man. The only stop gap to that is too have Martin expect to lose his man and funnel him into a waiting big who can rotate to either a.) draw a charge ala Hayes or b.) block the shot ala Hill. As it is now, neither Scola, Yao nor Miller can rotate quick enough. They either draw fouls or give up a layup drill. Scola on the other hand is versatile enough to operate with a running group in place of Lowry/Lee/Bud/Hill. And if running stops being effective, they have a legit post up option to function in the half court. Yes, it really is that simple.
RA is a bad coach because he does not give the right players the right amount of minutes and opportunity! Brooks is obviously the much better choice as the starter because RA made him starter! Does nobody see the fallacy in this?
I will never say Lowry is the worst but after looking at the game it seemed like Lowry was very reluctant to shoot the ball. He needed to be more aggressive shooting the ball than he has been this season. Brooks would have been vital in this game due to that reason. He would have kept Rose on his toes by scoring and keeping Rose honest by having to guard for the 3.Until lowry becomes a better shooter (or atleast more confident in his shot) this will continue to happen when we play elite point guards in the league. I think Lowry has proven that he can hit jumpers but seems to be his worse critic in games.......[/B]it is written.
I agree we should consider Brooks coming off the bench...espceially now coming off a serious ankle sprain. I mean why not!!Nothing else RA has done has worked thus far.........
aaron brooks + kyle lowry = kyron browry shane battier + chase budinger = chanse battdinger Yao Ming + Jordan Hill's feet = Yao Ming with Jordan Hill's feet. Rockets 2010-2011 NBA championship someone get it done.
