Good recap, but you might have mentioned Rick playing his guys 40+ minutes when the Rockets have another game tomorrow.

That killed us against Golden State earlier this year.

Rick has got to play his bench, even if he thinks they are not as good, the starters need that rest.

I certainly agree with this. 40+ minutes for our starters and now we are on the road playing a bunch of young racehorses. Not good.

Exactly, the same thing happened in the Lakers and GS game....would anyone be shocked if we get similar results tonight?

I think what was unforgivable in the 4th was how Houston fell asleep. A lot of people will look at Rose's 14 in the fourth and say we needed to play defense, but I don't think that was the problem. Rose is a prolific scorer, he was even hitting his shots from downtown which is uncharacteristic for him. What annoyed me was the fact that when the Bulls scored Houston would rush the ball up and take an ugly shot. The best way to stop a run is to slow it down and create fewer possessions for the bulls.

Also, we still have the same problem we always have: no one wants to take the shot.

Kevin needs to not disappear in the 4th!

He needs to make his own shot

Slot of times last nite he would just pass off and hope to get off a screen, but the bulls played good D.

And yes, Rick needs to play his bench u could clearley tell they were gassed. Play C Lee, Hill & Lee Rick needs to live through the growing pains.

    It's gonna be along season.

to play the bench even they were bad.

    it is funny,
one post said: Adelman must play the bench player.
one post said: Scola should play more minutes.

Fans are always smarter? here? lol

I was at the game and it was weird having them review those two shots. Never seen them review that kind of stuff before.

This should be stating the obvious, but last night, everytime we put our bench players in, the Bulls went on a run. Our bench was getting thoroughly outplayed. I think Rick was thinking: Get the win tonight. Take our chances tomorrow.

I somewhat agree. Although I wouldn't say suck, just not right for this team. To me he is not that spark guy off the bench. He needs a lot of minutes to produce (see Orlando, NJ or the game Martin went out). With Martin getting the bulk of the minutes and Lee getting spot minutes isn't working.<p> I did not like the trade when it happened. Not saying Ariza would be our savior this year or help us have a better record, I just felt the things he brought to the table are what we needed. I felt Battier (with his hustle and defense) and Buddinger (with his offense; even though he is sucking right now), should have been the spark guys off the bench backing up Martin and Ariza. That was more of a balance to me (offense and defense, starting and off the bench) than trying to bring in another shooting guard. Yes, I do understand the real reason it was done (luxury tax).
