Mr. Woods makes an estimated $50 million to $60 million a year in endorsements, primarily with Nike, American Express Corp. and General Motors Corp.'s Buick. Basketball stars Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, whose Los Angeles Lakers team won this year's NBA champsionship, were second and third, respectively, while tennis' Anna Kournikova -- who has never won a professional singles tournament -- was fourth.
