nice, thanks for mentioning this here.

I had already been thinking of getting one of these monitors cause I need to keep an eye on my heartrate, and I doubt those ones builtin to the treadmills are particularly accurate.

the bonus here is that not only am I getting what I need, Im helping out another cf member while doing it.

    These are available now?

You need to get someone from apple's design team because that thing is hideous looking. I don't care how cool it is if its fugly.

The one's on the treadmill are actually decent. Well I guess it depends on the treadmill but it works very similar to how the chest strap ones work. The technology behind ours is very similar to how a Pulse Ox sensor works (the thing they put in your finger at the hospital).

Anyways to answer your question the ePulse II is not available yet but will be very soon. Hopefully by next week we can be up and running. I'll keep everyone here posted.

    Thanks for everyones comments also.

I bought it at target today. It was on PS3. Seems to be a really cool fitness title that works pretty well. I was honestly impressed with the heart rate monitor prior to seeing this thread.

The game actually tracks your whole workout and graphs your heart rate for the whole workout, which is web accessible. A nice function to see how your heart rate changes with the type of exercise you are performing.

Yea the online profile feature is pretty neat. You are definitely one of the first people to pick up the game. I'm still waiting for IGN or GameSpot to review it.

In the realm of sports equipment, there is nothing wrong with the design if it is a functionally superior product. Do you even run? This is an outstanding product, especially for those who don't like using the cumbersome chest strap which is even more of an awkward looking product.

Saw a commerical for it last night from EA. Looks a bit different than what's on your website, though, but that's probably some EA design decision.

Yea, the EA Active 2 video game is a totally different product than ours. If you look at the news section on our site they are just licensing and using our technology but they designed their own product.
