Even for the shallow, I doubt they would let a few extra lbs. be a deal breaker.

Ewww. Do not want - I guess shes not all that fat for a typical American girl, but..... I've been in Ukraine for the past 4 weeks and have yet to see a fat female. The females here eat like females are supposed to eat. Small portions, 2-3 times per day (if that). All have nice, slim feminine bodies. They party too, just like our college girls - drink plenty of vodka, but still remain slim and trim.

Why do our women eat so much? Is it due to all the marketing and crap we watch on TV?

It rarely happens. Sometimes for a short while, but then it is usually back on fast, and more. I think it was Trader_Jorge who formulated the theory that there is only one direction for chicks to go when it comes to weight...it doesn't get less. I can't think of any examples where a chubby girl would have gotten skinny and kept it that way (outside of eating disorders, which are even worse).

Agreed...so what if she's not paper thin, she is still attractive and I would definitely hit that...

I guess this is a good gauge on what people find attractive...I mean, she puts on a few LBS and everyone gets crazy...there are more women in society that look like the new her than the old her...
