ok so we think he is headed to toronto. fine. don't get me wrong, i love kenny and his work ethic, but as a fan you have to accept your fav teams moves.

so what do we get from toronto?

rumors range from bradley, williams, moP, curry, to even bringing back dream.

we can cross dreams name off the list now. he is my favorite player of all time and IMO should retire as a rocket, but like i said, we have to accept the moves our team makes. there is no way we trade kenny for 1 last year with dream playing 3rd string center.

most people are stuck on the idea of trading for a back-up 2g. that wont happen. i have posted this in several threads:

steve and cat play 40 MPG that leaves 16 for remaining guards. mooch takes 12. we are left with 4. there isn't a chance in hell that we trade kenny for a garbage time player. espetially when we have oz and tito as back-up 2's. so curry can be counted out.

as for bradley, he is a 4/5 if we want an unproven 3rd tring center we will keep collier. not trade kenny. as a 4 bradley makes more sence, but not with Tmo on the team. i think the bradley talk was started by raptor fans that are scared that they may give up moP or JYD.

speaking of moP and JYD, i consider them prime targets in trade. moP is a 2/3 swingman. he is a really nice scorer who can become our new starting 3. i worry about his 'D' against 3's, however. it seems that we have enough offence anyway. so why trade for another scorer with suspect defence? i think if kenny is traded it will be for JYD. he will bring rebounding and intensity. he can be our doug christie.

big fowards like marion, odom, garnett, and dirk allways hurt us. toughness and intensity has allways been lacking from our front court. jerome williams seems like a perfect fit.

of course this rumor sounds like the type that just fizzles out in a week, but hey, its the offseason so why not talk about it?

    1. Why a seperate thread for this?

    2. I'd much rather have KT than JYD. Don't think it even comes close to working cap-wise anyway.
