For everybody saying that Nash has class, it's been pretty widely reported that he's been cheating on his wife pretty much ever since they got married. I'm not saying that LeBron is a saint or anything, but there's different levels of class. Nash is better with the way he handles his public perception, but behind closed doors, everybody's got their skeletons.

Geez...not every thread needs to involve LeBron.

This is really heart-breaking. Nash & wife probably have the best intentions for their kids. But wanting to always be there for your children after a divorce is very different than actually being there.

Not saying it's not the case, but widely reported? I doubt it, if it hasn't been discussed here before.

Some of yall really need to relax or learn how to take a joke. First off why is it about race? Plenty of people cheat and who are you to judge who has class and who doesn't. You don't know them....

2nd. Who cares what Lebron or what Nash does, it's their lives and they do what's best for them just like you or I would do. And yea it sucks for the kids but they are in a million times better situation than so many kids living on the street with no parents or money.

Would have been his best assist.

Instead his wife has to deal with a turnover.

    Not clutch.

For LeBron to announce something similar, It'd be a good idea to make an honest woman out of his girlfriend/associate/sidekick/babymama of 8 or so years.

Ahh if you lined up all the married NBA players and said all faithful husbands step forward you might get a few honest guys in the bunch. On the other hand, you might could hear a pin drop.

If a man like Wilt the Stilt could break records with the amt of @@ he got back when he played just imagine what these guys can get today.

This. This would be like Steve Nash going on a TV show, everyone expecting a heart-warming interview about his child and then he just goes and says. "**** that b****, I'm getting divorced."

That would parallel what LeBron pretty much did to Cleveland. I still like and follow LeBron, but no sane person can stand up for what he did...

    From 2008:

There are many more instances similar to this, but I'm too busy (and lazy) at work to look them up right now. But yeah, it's been pretty widely reported.

There is at least one player that was faithful to his wife during his career.

Can you imagine the guilt and (possible) trauma the son will feel once he gets older?

"Hey son, how's your first day of high school?... yeah? well anyways, just wanted you to know, mom and I got divorced right after you were born. Literally. That very next day. Thanks."
