I put my money on no. After tonight he has a 35.4% true shooting percentage. He's misfiring from beyond the arc 85.7% of the time and clanging the rims from inside the arc 66.7% of the time. He is so encouraged by these results that he is shooting more field goals and more 3 pointers than he ever has in his career. Great work Kyle!
Lowry and Ish are both worse shooters than Rafer, for all the hate AB gets he is still an essential part of this team, you can't have Chuck, Shane and Lowry on the court at the same time unless you are force feeding Yao or Scola the entire time which is a no no. PGs that can't shoot are just as bad as PGs that can't defend, we have a lot of extremes on this team...
I think he's just trying to force his game a little bit. He just came back from an injury; give him some time.
lol, I met him in the championship game he was a beast. Lowry actually shoots lefthanded, he just prefers using his right. On a side note, how is this any different from the past few years?
And before you go dissin' my mama... I already said my mama so old her social security number is 1! BAM HATERS!!
A starting PG has to shoot no mater he is Rafer or Lowry. Shooting is a PG's important job. That's why Lowry is not a starting PG in NBA.
100% correct, teams will force a weak link to do things they are not comfortable or good at doing. Check that...GOOD TEAMS will force it. Lowry is not a good shooter, and this year, his assist to turnover ratio is poor..and in nearly the same number of minutes.....Lowry (The alleged much better passer) is one assist per game less than Brooks (the alleged poor passer). Funny how that works. DD
This is incorrect. This year, Lowry is a minus 5 on the season, and he missed playing against some of the better teams early on......so minus 5 playing against the crap teams....even last night your boy was only a +1, while Ish was much better. The only Rockets on the year with a positive plus minus are: Miller, Smith, Budinger Martin and Scola, and sitting exactly at zero is Shane. Everyone else is below the Mendoza line.......even my boy Brooks. http://www.nba.com/statistics/plusminus/plusminus_sort.jsp?pcomb=1&season=22010&split=9&team=Rockets Here is the sad truth. DD
Not saying that you're wrong because I also believe Brooks is the better player but it's kind of unfair to point out Kyle's subpar play this year when he didn't play a preseason at all and is just getting back into shape. His game relies too much on power and speed (which is why I think he will have a short career). BTW, Rondo and Parker aren't great shooters either, you know that.
