Groupon selling discount Rockets tickets today

I've bought tickets off Groupon before.

These are available on a first come, first serve basis, meaning you'll have to go to the box office to swap your Groupon for a Rockets ticket anytime before the game.

I'm still trying to find out what sections are available as part of this deal.

 

Are you able to pick your seats?

I got two. My wife bought from groupon for the Cirque de Soliel (spelling??), and you do not get to select your seat. You show up at the ticket office on Polk and they assign your seat then. It is first come first serve on the location fo the seats.. Having said that, our tickets to Cirque were pretty good.

 

So after you order through Groupon, you take the printout to Toyota center to swap it?

 

Yessir.

 

Per Rockets rep on Groupon:

Upper level seating sections ex: 407-405 (or like sections)
Lower level seating sections ex: 101-103 (or like sections)

 

Those are pretty decent lower bowl seats

 

Saw that last night, get a free tshirt too. Not sure if it beats bidding for tickets on ebay.

 

Blah, I've never seen anything like this from my Chicago Groupon emails

 

I just bought two for Thunder game.

 

Scalpers are still the way to go.. got 2 seats from out side of MSG for $30 last night.. 10 rows up from center court. Got Jordan Hill's sweatband and met Bill and Bull (yes, i was very excited about that) and Scola.. :grin:

 

Sold out.

 

Got two in the lower bowl for the Thunder.
I wonder if the t-shirts will be any good.
