Looks like something psychedelic from the 70's. Anyways.. I would be embarrassed to live in that house. Looks interesting for a daycare or something involving kids though.
the designer has created several other houses inspired by nature... I saw his shark house on HGTV or the Travel Channel.
If you like that sort of stuff you should check out some of the work by Bart Prince and Bruce Goff. http://www.bartprince.com/ http://www.schildrotharchitect.com/FOK/bruce_goff_architect.htm
It's too gimmicky for my liking, but the artistry behind it is definitely impressive. The thing that impresses me most about guys like FLW and Bart Prince is how they use the natural surroundings of the structure to play off of the materials that are used to build the house. It always fascinates me to see how a single tree, or a rolling hill can be used so intricately in the design of a building.
The ceilings are too low for me. If I get an awesome house it will have some spaces will very high ceilings.
Tiger Woods kept his new house pretty simple in comparison: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1309511/Tiger-Woods-50million-Florida-estate-nearly-completed--comes-golf-course.html
