One of the stupidist movies ever made.

I thought the first scene was really good, but it went downhill as soon as Pitt showed up and then the fake Italian thing and the ending... just really bad.

i only saw the last 30 minutes but i enjoyed it. There was a Tarantino marathon. Natural Born Killers (Tarantino/Oliver Stone), Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and then Inglorious Basterds.

Pulp Fiction will never be topped. That was pure original Tarantino and it was f-ing great. The rest of "his" movies are good to "meh wtf c'mon man you can do better than that".

The big problem I had with the movie was that it was completely misleading. Brad Pitt was marketed too heavily in the trailers, so I'm thinking the bulk of the movie would center around his character and his platoon. But in reality, he was a supporting character at best. I could care less how much screen time he got, but I do care that I didn't see as much gratuitous blood and head scalping that the trailers led me to believe.

It was kinda weird in that there weren't that many scenes that actually had the Basterds in it.

I didn't expect much from this movie (since I'm not a fan of Tarantino's movies). And I didn't like it. When we finished the movie my Wife and I just looked at each other and started laughing.
