Kubiak took the team from awful to mediocre. Unfortunately, that's all he's capable of.

He gave it an identity on offense. But it came with an identity of over inconsistency and mediocrity. The talent defensively does suck, you cant argue that. Aside from maybe 4 players on defense who else would start on an NFL base defense? Anyways, if a new coach came in I wouldn't be upset if they kept Kubiak on to run the offense (which never happens).

I think Kubiak gets 1 more Year.
I don't think McNair will pull the trigger unless that go . . less than 6 wins

***** Kubiak. I will personally pay for his plane ticket out of town if that is what it takes to get him fired.

The only way i see him staying is if they win maybe 10 games. Doesn't look good at all.

Kubiak is like the nice affable version of Jerry Glanville.

Wait a sec, Jerry has been to the playoffs....

Which is why we should root for the Texans to lose every remaining game.

This isn't the GARM. You could have made your "insightful" statement in 2 other threads

I was rooting for them to lose THIS game. I hope they get humiliated from here on out...whatever it takes to blow this whole disgusting team up.

being terrible > being mediocre with a low ceiling

No, it's not. He still has a contract till 2012. No we he pays Kubi-Aggie for two years to do nothing.

Signing him to an extension was pure idiocy. Uncle Bob is just going to have to suck it up and pay him off, because anything less than cleaning house is unacceptable.

I dont think he's getting fired heading into an uncapped year- theres a chance for a lockout so then you'd be paying 2 coaches (the fired kubiak and the new hire) to not coach.
