Assuming the As win the AL West, this will be the 11th year in a row that he's played on a division-winning team. Drayton, sign him up!
David came out earlier this year stating this this may be his last year. Of course, he said this right after he was traded to the A's. So, I don't know if he would be willing to take back that statement. I, also, don't see the Astros getting a outfielder unless it is a centerfielder.
We also need Chris Hammond, who may end up the 3rd pitcher *ever* to pitch at least 70 innings with an ERA under 1.00.
As much as I despise Cox & Mazzone, you've got to respect their coaching abilities. They've consistently taken pitchers off the scrap heap & turned them into effective, and sometimes excellent, players. Jose Cabrerra, Remlinger, Burkett, Hammond, Darren Holmes, etc....
OMG!!!!!! David Justice rules all of baseball. He's been my favorite player since like 1993. He is the best player ever. He will be a unanimous HOF inductee. He has the record for most playoff games, playoff rbi's, and playoff AB's. Lance Berkman may overtake him as best player ever one day though. JUSTICE FOR MVP!!!!!!! JUSTICE FOR MOVP!!!!!!!!
