On the positive, with little hope of winning in our next 5 games, today's loss really cements the path to Kubiak's firing. I don't think McNair would even stand for a 4 or 5 win season after the preseason expectations AND a 4-2 start. Finishing the season 0-10 or 1-9 should be enough to pull the plug on Kubiak.
What the hell has happened to this offense? It has not been the same this season, and the last 3 weeks or so it's be just flat out awful.
This teams depressing to watch, the play calling is horrendous. The offense is just as bad as the defense today. Schaub has got to step up and lead this team, they have the players just no fight.
It was pretty good last week. They settled for too many FGs but they moved the ball against a good defense.
The entire city of Houston is the laughing stock of pro sports right now. Texans = suck Astros = suck Rockets = suck Dynamo = suck
Who would you prefer if it was between Rob Ryan and Brian Billick? Billick is sort of like Kubiak, except he's won (needs complete control, calls the plays, has a big say in personnel decisions). Ryan is doing some good things with Cleveland's defense, and we saw what his brother has done once he got the coaching opportunity... but then again, he's another first-time head coach.
at this point its better for Texan's future to lose out so its a definite that down syndrome Kubiak will get fired. Even then Mcnair still might not fire him because i have a feeling there has been some dick sucking going on in here.
Watching Peyton running the 2 minute offense to perfection against us just makes me sad watching that last drive by us.
