If you had the misfortune of watching X-Men Origins: Wolverine, hit the reset button because the next film won't bother with trying to match the continuity established by that or the previous X-Men movies.

    The Wolverine
    Release Date: 2012
Director: Darren Aronofsky (Pi, Requiem For a Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler)
Writer: Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, The Way of the Gun)

Fingers crossed that this turns out great.

Can Aronofsky make a PG13 film. Is a PG13 Aronofsky film really an Aronofsky film?

Has Fox never heard of any of the other mutants in the Marvel universe? Deadpool? Nightcrawler? Colossus and Kitty? Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch? Isn't four movies about Wolverine enough already? Meh.

Hopefully we see a badass this time around.

    Wolverine origins sucked.

Deadpool's a bit busy being Green Lantern. Hopefully in a year or so.

Deadpool- They are in production for this movie.

Nightcrawler- Great character filled with depth but too much of a religious tone to market to kids.

Colossus and Kitty(Pride)?- Couldn't not make a full script just having either. I would like to see Colossus fight Omega Red though.

Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch- Too many characters would have to be in the movie so that it wouldn't ruin their story. You would need the brotherhood story along with him becoming good. Meh.

If they make Wolverine's claws look more like claws and less like **** this film will have already eclipsed Origins.

This could be special. Out of nowhere kinda news. But special. I like how Jackman has to be on board for anything they throw at him. At least he takes it like a champ. Most actors (Ed Norton) would find something to b**** about.

If we're really lucky, they will use the Frank Miller Wolverine mini-series as source material. And not jack it up.

    Wolverine + Ninjas = PROFIT$$$

I would like to see a Wolverine movie where he's old and retired, living in a farm, with 3 children from Rogue.

Always felt Clint Eastwood would make one hell of a Wolverine.

As much as I cannot stand Clint Eastwood, I think you might be right... in this instance.

I'm hoping this would be rated R but I highly doubt it.

So as long as there is no space tree involved, I'm good.

Thank you. The space tree eclipsed so many good moments he's made otherwise. The space tree was like on rocket building day in 3rd grade, when the fat kid made a big paper-mache rocket, and then it barely made it off the pad, after firing for like 30 seconds, and then, expended, it just fell over from itx max height of 2 feet.

    So sad.
