HOLY ****!!!! YOU JUST MADE MY DAY!!!!!! I swear when I got the email that said it wouldn't be available until December 31st I almost cried a little bit. Now it comes out the day before Thanksgiving so I can play it for four days straight? SO $$$$!!!
Yeah I saw this earlier though people are questioning how it can be the 24th since it's a Wednesday. Most games usually come out on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to this game though, it's been a long time since I've played Gran Turismo.
Anyone still driving AUTOMATIC? I do. I don't know how to drive "stick." I still drive on Automatic, both on the game and in real life. I truly learned some real-life driving techniques with Gran Turismo 3, I kid you not... like releasing the accelerator pedal way before time, and getting the apex properly. This is why I like this game: it is the REAL driving simulator. NO, they don't have the family Camry sedan in the game. :grin:
How is this game going to be with online gameplay? I had bought someone the Prologue version, they said it took forever to load and people kept crashing into one another.
^^^^That up there is the old wheel. Here's the new one: Logitech G27 Comes with both Steering wheel pedal shifters and a separate stick. And also the standard foot pedals.
Sometimes games, especially the Japanese ones have weird release dates. Nintendo games have had sundays or fridays just to factor in the craze some of their games have (pokemon, smash brothers). It's like movies where the convention is friday releases, but you'll get a wednesday premier instead.
I'm gonna be talking the whole time on that track like how Clarkson narrates all the celebrity laps. "Oh taking a nice line on the hammerhead" "A bit off on the Gambon corner"
GT's always delay. and delay. and delay. I'll believe it when I see it! I don't like racing games, never buy em. EXCEPT for the GT series. Its an absolute must buy game. Even if only to show off the power of the PS3.
Unfortunately, I am too broke to justify buying it anytime soon. Can't wait for release day so I can go get it anyway.
I kind of feel like getting this game just because it's "the" PS3 game, but I don't like racing sims. I have played Forza 3 with wheel and hated it (mainly cause I sucked).
