Just the other day, everybody said Love is a scrub.. now this article comes out and everybody thinks it's a great idea?
Look at the turnover since Morey has taken over. These guys are scared they might get traded at any moment. That does not make for a stable team. Let them play together for awhile unless you can get a superstar, not LOVE.
This may or may not be relevant: Love close to requesting a trade? http://72.32.131.210/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=125174&sid=47225a00453b54c403b68b926b65a1f7&start=0
That is what I was wondering about earlier in this thread. Is there some discord between him and Rambis? Most writers on twitter think Rambis is just being dumb for not playing him more minutes. Anyone know why?
Yea, keep trying to get more young talent when you can't even get your current young talent to play together with chemistry..
Love , he's no better than scola we need more length not another 6"8 forward, Im really losing confidence in Morey.
Love has been b****ing and whining all year long, even sort of threw Minnesota under the bus during the World Championships. Rambis did show some trust in Love in the 4th quarter last game but besides that there is clearly some friction between the coaching staff and Kevin. Love's whining has gotten to the point (a poster in that thread did point this out) where Michael Beasley told Rambis during the Lakers game to not let Love back in. Many Timberwolves fans consider Love a 'stat padder' and doesn't care about the team. I can't really confirm because I haven't watched them all that much this season. For the Timberwolves sake I hope Rambis and Love sort this thing out, but if it doesn't work out I wouldn't mind Love in a Rockets uniform. He may be a headcase in 'Sota but that may be due to all the years of losing, and he's just frustrated.
In all honesty I believe it's great to have the one team in the nba with the largest collection of "nice" complementary players. Rockets need some hungry thugs that arent afraid to bang and bang hard every single game played. Lets go for Michael Beasly instead, he at least can play the three and isnt afraid to mix it up and do a little bit of everything. I think he can be as good as Blake Griffin given a good coach and solid environment. Not saying he's our answer but heck, he'd be one fun player to watch play. I watched the T-wolves game last night where Beasley went for 42 points, and let me tell you, that's exactly the type of passion that this team is lacking. Bring some tats to H-town and along with them, some serious intensity and bullishness. I want to become the new Detroit Pistons instead of the up and coming T-wolves. Trade Battier for Beasley, they'd do it thinking we are crazy.....but think potential. And while you are it have em throw in Rubio for Hill/Patterson. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=27spdjf
T'wolves released Maurice Ager today cutting the roster down to 14 players. Maybe they are making room for additional players.
