thats what so great about the celtics stars.. Perfect combination of an iso wing in Pierce, a knockdown three pointer who plays off the ball in Allen, and a complete PF in garnett.

If wade could shoot threes wel and Bosh could be the defensive player that people think he can be then this team would have been unstoppable with Lebron as your iso wing.

I can't believe how invisible Bosh looks, I'm really shocked. I know his offense was going to take a hit and needed time to adjust but his defense and rebounding has disappeared.

They only lost by 5 points, and were down by 22 at one point.
I think people over reacting quite a bit.

Again, YOU FAIL. Losing by 5 points isn't indicative of how terrible the Heat played.... Where did you learn your knowledge of basketball?

the problem is they don't have anyone else besides wade and lebron to do the playmaking. so they both can't be "on" at the same time for the most part. when mike miller comes back, he will alleviate that. miller has some playmaking skills and that will allow wade and james to attack from the wings.

and it's 9 games people. but it's clear bosh will have to adjust and adjust fast b/c critics will be going hard at him.

Another 15+ assist game for Rondo. If he keeps this up, he may be able to break John Stockton's single season assist record.

They played bad and lost by 5, which is pretty good, considering who they played against. They are learning how to play together, so its going to great to watch. They could of just sat back and got blown out by 30.

This is where they say the game wasn't as close as the score indicates.

Boston dominated the Heat until the last 5 minutes.

The Heat would look so much better If they could trade Bosh for Garnett.

Bosh needs to go lift some weights, and get out of his comfort zone of softness.

What a terrible state to be in!!!!

Its not the playmaking they need as much as outside shooting, rebounding, and interior defense.

I wonder if the Heat fans are wondering if it's time to start tanking. Oh wait, I don't even know if they have a first round pick next year.

outside shooting will be solved when miller gets back and the inconsistent house can play less minutes.

with miller alleviating the playmaking duties or wade taking over the playmaking duties, lebron will help out with the boards like he did tonight.

interior defense will always be a problem. and you can't expect bosh to solve that. they need a trade to get a banger.

but it's a weird trend to see wade in suck mode v. boston. he plays well, the heat win.

garnett alone would not solve their interior defense.

I wonder if it's too late for the NBA to change the Christmas Day game to Celtics/Lakers. I don't watch 40 minutes of woodshed beating.

The trio of Garnett, Allen and Pierce at their prime will dominate the trio of Bosh, James and Wade.

This game just shows how cohesive the celtics 3 are and how they are a perfect example of 3 all stars picking a role and playing that role.

Garnett, unlike Bosh, puts rebounding and defence as his top priority, with scoring coming second. He chips in 16 points on a very efficient 6-8 shooting. Allen is a terrific off ball scorer, easily dropping 35 points on the heat. Pierce is their primary iso wing, dropping 25 points on an efficient 10-16 shooting.

The heat however is not showing any signs of cohesiveness so far. Why is Lebron doing everything? Where is Wade's scoring? Where is Bosh's rebounding?

Neither Wade nor Lebron are off ball players like Allen, one of them need to come off the bench.
