Again that's annoying. Put aside what he may or may not have posted (and I have no idea if he's posted something so radical to where he "hates" Israel and wants it wiped out) And btw that's a pretty harsh allegation right there.

But respond to the FACTS of the article. This is what I've seen in this thread in response.

1. The website has Arabic on it so its not credible

2. There have been lots of terrorist attacks by people who are Muslim so by extension we shouldnt pay any attention to an article with Arabic and/or written by a Muslim.

3. The guy who posted it doesnt like Israel so we can just ignore the article entirely.

That's ****ty close-minded discussion that goes nowhere. At least take the time to read it instead of spouting off stuff like this.

Your blatant bias is very obvious. The fact is that there are wrongdoings on both side of the fence. Discrediting a source because its in a certain language, as a defense mechanism, is petty at best.

 

The Israelis do what they have to do to survive. It ain't always pretty, but when you are surrounded by millions of people who's main goal in life is Holocaust 2.0, you can't always play nice.

I went through a few posts by Pharaoh King and didnt find anything to indicate that he wants Israel wiped off the map. You threw out the accusation, so defend it and quote him saying that.

You responded to a post I made about another post that dismissed the article because it had Arabic by pulling a basso and just randomly linking a website with no context and in my mind no connection whatsoever. And now you're just deflecting criticism because once again you posted a link with no context.

Secondly, how is this "anti-Israel" hate. He posted an article that quotes Israeli documents that hint at the idea that Israel is intentionally denying requisite food aid to Gaza. Just respond to that instead of hurling names and labels at people and using that as justification for just ignoring the substance of the article.

I find it telling that this thread is two pages long and NO ONE has actually bothered to respond to the article. Instead the debate has consisted of poo-flinging and name calling rather than addressing a seemingly legitimate issue.

Let's see...note that you phrased some of those in a way to make it seem like it is "Arab sentiment", while not clearly stating that it is certainly your own sentiment. But that is pretty clear from the context of your posts.

1) Wishing for Arab countries to have nukes so they have a threat of annihilating Israeli cities.

2) Force the enemy (Israel) to share in your misery

3) Equating Israel with Nazi Germany.

1) He's describing the theory of mutually assured destruction. I mean I'm not a fan of MAD but how do you fault anyone for applying that to the region. Israel is the only country in the region with nuclear weapons and anyone who subscribes to a literal version of MAD theory would argue that a state in the region should have nuclear weapons to counterbalance the Israeli weapons

2) He's just describing what he interprets the views of Palestinians to be in relation to their occupation. How does that somehow indicate that he hates Israel or wants it wiped out.

3) Ok now you're REALLY stretching it. So he quotes Egyptian policy on marriage and explains how its viewed. your second quote he's just describing what he feels are the views of Arabs in the region.

Normally I wouldnt care but you're just slandering people today and that's really disgusting and annoying. Stick to debating the issues instead of personal attacks.

I may disagree with 98% of your views on Islam but notice I'm not name-calling because that's unnecessary. I suggest you do the same.

 

That would require that people care about their own lives. One side routinely uses suicide bombers, which seems to indicate that at least to some extent they do not care about their own lives, as long as they get to live out their hatred of Israel. So I hope they will never have nukes.

I am not assuming any more about his attitude towards jews than several posters here do about my attitude towards muslims. Where were you to defend me when adeelsiddiqui posted crap about me supposedly wanting to kill muslims?

Its a perfectly legitimate criticism of MAD to argue that a country like Iran would be irrational and could do something stupid. But the fact that he argued that nukes in the region would counterbalance Israel and prevent nuclear war isnt some indicator of how one feels about Israel, its simply a theory as to how to prevent nuclear war. I agree with you but his statement said zilch about "hating Israel" or wanting to wipe it out.

You just stated that you thought Pharaoh King supports wiping out Israel. That's an absurd and frankly offensive assumption. Now if someone suggested that you wanted to kill Muslims than that too is offensive. I didnt see it but that doesnt mean I condone it. Either way if someone said something unjust to you that doesnt make it ok to make absurd assumptions about someone else based on quotes that dont come close to supporting that.

I'm only reading the quotes in their context. You're the one who's drawing conclusions based on your own assumptions. You still havent explained how any one of those quotes suggests that he wants to wipe out Israel. It's just immature to suggest something like that. You may disagree with him and I'm sure you feel the need to provide a pro-Israeli voice but making personal attacks is the wrong way.

I see Ottoman (I think its him anyway) that writes a lot of pro-Israeli positions and I dont agree with very much but I respect it because he makes arguments. Like I said originally there are arguments that can be made to justify the Israeli position on Gaza but you chose not to make those.

Anyway I've wasted too much time on this discussion so I think I'm done here.
