    From Feigen !

    @Jonathan_Feigen
    Jonathan Feigen
    Yao: “There are is a little bit sprained tendons. It looks like somewhere around ankle. Tom. will have scan and a detail check-out

    Maybe Yao was just upset the team lost.....and he didn't do much when he played.

    I was reading Feigan's tweets on that and kept seeing the word "torn" instead of that twitterific abbreviation for "tomorrow".

    torn.

    If nothing else, this will probably put a stop to any plans to extend Yao's playing time in the near-term.

    Probably only until this new injury heals. I can't see them seeing this injury as stress/fatigue related.

    im not sure what you mean by that :confused: That tweet doesnt change anything, although using the word "little" makes it seem minor. I think that's just yao's way of saying it doesnt feel very painful/bad.

    If you are talking about the bolded part, then I mean Yao played 6 minutes, and got one rebound...thus the...didn't do much when he played.

    What does a bone scan have to deal with a tendon injury?

    Did they say that? Or an MRI scan which does the tendons.....probably they should do both just to be sure.

    Probably to check if there is no damage to the bone because they aren't sure yet.

    it seemed like you were saying the injury maybe wasnt that bad and so maybe he sat out because he was disappointed/angry

    He cant even stay healthy for 24 minutes a night. Just trade him to some fool and get a pick or a starter while he still has some value.

    He was stretching right in front of my row with keith jones. It was the muscle they were massaging and stretching and yao appeared to be in quiet a bit of pain. his expression throughout his duration on the sideline was somber and tired, the pain was very noticeable when he walked; the wincing was tough to watch.

    we tried to get a word on yao from keith jones during halftime but he just laughed shook his head shrugged and said i don't know.

    good KU contingent tonight for patt patt and chuck. word to john wall
