That is a really stupid trade idea.

And the sad thing about it is, I'm not surprised by it at all. If the guys from ESPN would actually watch a game every now and then, they'd realize that this team has been very close to winning pretty much all of their games this season.

So trading away our most efficient scorer just sounds... stupid.

Broussard is out of his mind. Giving Ariza to NO while we got Lee back is one thing, sending out Martin for anything less than Paul back would be absolutely idiotic.

I rarely use the term but that would be just stupid and r****dedly moronic.

Go smoke that pipe somewhere else Broussard.

The more interesting question would be

Martin + Scola +Brooks (plus extras to make it work) for Okafor and Paul.

if we keep losing, why do we want to trade at all? we'd only want to lose more if we keep on losing. having peja will only make us win more and get a shi!ter pick

I remember I used to make Peja shoot all the threes when I somehow got him in my NBA Live team back in 2007-2008.

If we're losing and looking to rebuild then we trade Martin to a team that's not NO. The only good young player they had was Collison, and they shipped shipped for just Trevor Ariza. Why will we get someone inferior AND take Peja's poison pill contract for Kevin Martin?

You basically stated why I wouldn't do it but I will say Peja isn't a poison pill, his contract is a nice expiring contract.

It is perfect time for Rockets to consider this trade.
