He should have rested after his surgery. The decision to play Phoenix could have caused him to sustain a career ending injury or slow him down for good. They still lost so in the end it wasn't even worth it. Roy looks alot like a shell of his former self. He doesn't seem to have the quick first step or ability to change speed like he did. He doesnt look to break off his man and is settling for contested jumpers. He's a good sportsman, hope he gets better.

Although the last decade has not been very kind to them.....

They have won a championship (Bill Walton was on the team)....

They have also made the finals twice in during the Drexler era (lost to Pistons and Bulls) and had a very formidable team....

They would have made the Finals and won a championship had they not crumbled in the last quarter and *gasp* Pippen would have had another ring.

They do have some painful history but if it comes to hopes and dreams being crushed my pick for the unluckiest franchise would have to be Phoenix Suns. Lots of painful failed playoff memories for a Suns fan.

Read the article please before saying something like that.

He is dealing with the other knee. His left one which btw he had surgery on as well in 2008.

His right knee is allright, I guess.

My fault, just read it again after and realized it was his other knee. I guess the guy is experiencing some reoccuring injuries. Both knees being worked on can't be good since his game rely on his ability to shift speeds.

He looks to me as a very me first player and i don“t like that.
So far calling his team out because he is not getting 25 shots a game. Ridiculous.
He seems like the kind of player that would pull a LeBron if he could.

Yeah, it was well known. A reason why he wasn't drafted higher.

Good thing we didn't get to have the chance to draft him right guys??

Anyways, this is why they should do everything they can to keep Rudy. With Roy out, we can finally see the player he should should be.

They would be thrilled if he only misses few weeks maybe month or two and than be available a full strenght later on.

I am afraid his option may be microfracture.

One of my favorite players out there, A shame really, he stopped developing 2 seasons ago. Thought he will be the next Kobe, now he's going to decline :( :(

If there's cartilage missing, then he should go ahead and just do it.

26 is a good age for him to recover... assuming he's one of the lucky ones that DO recover fully...he could be competing at a high level again by the time he's in his late 20s and then enjoy a career in his 30s..

unfortunately he's going to be the next Jimmmy Jackson

Whatever, I don't feel sorry for them one bit. And btw, they did win a championship, I believe a man named Bill Walton was MVP...
