Wes Unseld and the Clippers say: YESSSSS!!!!!! Keep playing the lotto. Eventually you gonna win it and then, wine and roses.
this is the same strategy that DD is suggesting in the other thread.. Wait until a superstar emerge from your current roster, not trade.
We did stand pat playing the lotto after the Hakeem era and eventually won it. And had "the best team ever assembled" after going for broke and landing Eddie Griffin in a 3 picks for 1 trade.
The Rockets shouldn't make a trade just to make a trade. Yet. The goal is to stay above 500, and try to snag a player at the deadline, but if the team continues to lose, they might not have the luxury of waiting that long. But we're not at that point. Yet.
haha, i forgot when leslakota brought out the great team ever assembled line. on a similar note, I think we need to sign Pat O Bryant, Patrick Ewing, Pat Garrity, and Stanley Roberts, Stanislav Medevedenko, and Ruben Patterson, with Stan Van Gundy to coach and Pat Riley to GM- giving us the most Stan-Pat lineup EVER ASSEMBLED, and making DD forever happy.
haha...the most "Stan-Pat lineup EVER ASSEMBLED!" and Dan Patrick as our play-by-play We could also sign another Pat to our D-LEAGUE team. none other than: <img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_VFb1uTJUsrU/SVZeZLm8v6I/AAAAAAAAAy8/x56iNAS9xhQ/s400/mutombo3.jpg"> Patrick Mutombo
You guys are crackin' me up. :-D- I'm pretty sure DaDakota has Sam on ignore, perhaps because he refuses to give him a Pat Pat on the back. Most ungentlemanly of him! ;-)-
