This thread was posted after the Redskins game , in which Santana Moss and 38yr old Joey Galloway carved up our secondary...and Peyton Manning having 426 yards against our secondary.

It took an all-time rushing performance from Foster and a last second TD heave to beat the above teams.

Dallas - embarrassment (1-6 Cowboys)
Giants - floor stopping
Raiders - shameful win
Chiefs - should of lost
Colts - .....
Chargers - no Vincent Jackson , no Antonio Gates, No Malcolm Floyd, No Craig Davis, No Legau Naenae. Chargers still put up 29 points smfh


The title of the thread is not who are playoff contenders , the OP had the nerve to say SUPER BOWL contenders. At no point during this season, including game one, did the Texans look like Super Bowl contenders or even playoff contenders. Some posters had the nerve to bring up the Saints as a rebuttal ...LMAOOOO.

What the **** ARE YOU GUYS THINKING....fans have to intelligent, not dip****s!!!!

I voted 8-8 in the season record thread, but can't find that. Looks like I was over optimistic.

 

I don't understand at all what your problem is with the OP. The fact is, if you can get into the playoffs, you ARE a Super Bowl contender. That's the POINT of the playoffs. And at the time of the post, the Texans WERE legitimate playoff/SB contenders (some MAY argue that they still are). Sure, we have our weaknesses, but show me one team that doesn't. Your insinuation that anybody who thinks this team is nowhere NEAR getting to the playoffs/SB is beyond false, and I think it's outlandish to call your overt negativism "being a realist." They are 4-4, and one game out of the division lead. I understand that the odds are stacked HEAVILY against us from here on out, and I also agree that losing these last two games PROBABLY cost us the season, but let the games play out before you start calling people dumbasses and whatnot. The fact is, this team is somewhere in the middle of the OP's reality and yours....they really are only a piece or two (and possibly a competent head coach) away from being a helluva team.
