No one on this team can create their own shot or command double team. Offense can be easily killed.
    So this would be uber-fail.

Rick likes to go with the status quo and by the pre-written script. This is far too experimental and avant-garde for RA. I however would love to see Ish get more p.t.. In my mind he makes AB expendable. I say let AB walk next year. We are already overpaying for Lowry and Scola; I would hate to add an extra player to that unfortunate category.

No worries, it came out right before the game. Honestly, everyone is still a bit fuzzy over whats going on.

So the other team could just slow it down on their offensive possession and pound it in the post. Budinger would foul out and we would be an even worse rebounding team that we are now.

AB might be expendable, and atrocious on D, but I think it's our team D that's really the problem vs. anything else.

But I just started this thread more as a playful idea than anything else.

we dont have a good defensive front court to make up for our crappy backcourt... and that's not changing anytime soon.

This I agree. This team's defense rotation is just painful to watch to say the least.
Sometimes, I have to wonder if it's the coach.

You know what's an even BETTER idea? Lowry, Jeffries, Chuck, Shane, and Yao all starting together! Just imagine how may blocked shots and charges we would have! The other team would score like 60 points a night!

What Adelman REALLY wants is to play Minnesota every night. Ish was impressive tonight, but it's not like he was playing against world beaters. Let's hold off our "START ISH SMITH" chants until he does this against a team that could actually beat the RGV Vipers.

    LOL too true.

We beat the T-Wolves, big deal...

but what we gotta realise is even if Ish becomes Rajon Rondo, we're still gonna lose games. I love Ish to bits, and am a massive fan of his, but hes nowhere as effective as advertised.

Get rid of Yao Ming, and I'll jump on the bandwagon.

Don't appreciate the random sarcastic jab.

I remember losing to the Spurs. He had one good quarter. Can he sustain that through 35-40 minutes, and do it consistently?

I don't know. I hope he can, but until he proves it in Brooks' absence, he won't and shouldn't win the starting job.

Brooks proved over the last two seasons that he can lead this team to victory, both in the regular season and playoffs. Ish is a rookie. Does that mean that Ish can't do the same thing? No. Does that mean Brooks is better that Ish? No.

What it means is we don't know how good Ish is yet. He may be better than Brooks. There's no way to tell with the small sample size we have. Now's his chance to show us.

Just don't jump to any rash decisions before you know what he brings to the team.

    We need trade AB.
AB cant stand there with K Martin at same time because of their poor defense ability.
Start Lowry/Smith instead of AB,that's the way to win games.

    Joking? Or seriously?

I can't help thinking AB The Brainless vs. Kobe on SG position...

What a nightmare for AB and Rockets
