The intentional grounding call makes up for that bull**** PI in the first half and the no call when smith went for Rivers knees WHICH caused the int. Please spare me, the Foster catch was not a blown call, it's in the rules and even though rule sucks dick, IT'S IN THE RULES.
Dude, I don't usually disagree with you like the other people on this board do... but I think you're completely wrong on this one. That's a routine catch. AJ's the best in the league, it doesn't matter if it was "low" our "out front," even though it wasn't those things anyway, because he's supposed to make that catch. As for that FG we "should have" gone for as others are saying... well yeah, hindsight is 20/20, but we would have still lost the game, and frankly, it made sense to go for it given the way our defense was playing. Our secondary was giving up big gains left and right, and we got lucky on that one INT because Pollard got an illegal hit on Rivers throwing his pass off. Fact of the matter is, we can point fingers at coaching all we want, and it will probably be deserved in some cases such as Foster getting minimal touches in the 4th, but man, the players on the field really blew it today.
He should have caught it. Went off his hands, then his body, then his knee. In fact had it been more uncatchable, it likely just is an incomplete pass and we're still playing.
Andre should've had that easily. Big time players make big time plays. No excuse for that, but the Texans got cheated big time with the Foster touchdown and the stupid intentional grounding. This game was winnable...how long does it take to freaking bench Kareem Jackson? No other cornerback on the depth chart is better than him?
Going to have to go 6-2 the rest of the way to at least have a chance at the playoffs. Season is looking bleak but i still have a glimmer of hope..
Every pass isn't going to be easy, DD. We expect greatness from AJ when it's winning time. Everything you said was correct but that ball should have been caught. Kubiak made some bad decisions too
The Texans shouldn't haven't gone into the season with a rookie and 2nd year player as their starting corners. They should've had a legit replacement in mind if they were going to let Dunta go. Frank Bush should not have been named defensive coordinator. Gary Kubiak should have been fired after last season.
DD, just stop. If anything, it was on AJ80. Nothing to do with Schaub's pass... you continually fail.
I don't understand it. What effing difference would it have made if we had gotten that FG? We would've magically grown a decent secondary? We would've just decided to stop throwing on second down at the opponent's 30 and kick the tying FG? What the hell does that FG have to do with anything? We would've lost this game either way, judging by the way things unfolded at the end.
