Even though we're 0-5, this game has led me to believe we will bounce back later in the season. This team has a hella lot of heart.

No Yao, No Lowry, No Brooks for a half, No Martin basically for 3rd and 4th quarters and we still push the Spurs into overtime in their arena.

Smith played great, even though he missed a lot of chippy lay-ups, he greatly impacted the game with his penetrating and his passing. This rook grew up tonight.

Battier also played awesome tonight and maybe this kind of game for him is just what he needed to get back on track.

Overall, I'm happy where this team is headed and WE WILL BOUNCE BACK!

There's no moral victory here. We're down 0-5 and Brooks is going to be out for a while, with Yao playing 24 minutes a game and missing one of the back-to-backs.

I am glad they fought hard, but that is what they are paid to do.

I am dissappointed in the stupidity in late game situations.

I don't think they have practice that much with s Lee/smith back court.
But I know they moved Duncan on Scola but why they didn't keep play the pick and roll with him?

Is this post serious? We have the worst record in the league in a season where we got our "superstar" back and were expected by many to be a top 4 seed in the west. Moral victories don't mean anything. The fact that much of the Rockets fanbase constantly puts up with so much mediocrity is part of the reason why management never goes out and does what it has to do to get a superstar, sacrifices season after season for Yao because of how financially valuable he is, and just searches for undervalued players.

Anybody still think the Ariza trade wasn't just a move to save money? While Ariza hit a clutch three to beat the Heat and keep his team undefeated, Lee choked this game away with two missed FTs.

I love the Rockets but management has to be held responsible for this. The Rockets have the worst record in the league. No sugar coating that.

We have to win the next 5 games to get a 0.5% on the games.... and by then we are 10 games into the season....

hw high are the chances that a team that has a 5 game losing streak go on a 5 game winning streak.... low.... I seriously hope we can cross the 50% mark before 20 games

Plus now we have 2PG and martin facing injury. we are short on effective scoring players..(which i feel brooks injury is really a bump.. at end of half time!!!??)

I do not think it's still early in the season, in fact we are facing a disaster now.... we better start winning some games!!!

    Go Rockets!!!

Actually... the more secure your contract is, the more laid-back and apathetic you are... *cough* *cough* Turkoglu *cough* ;)

Tomorrow is the test... we have been in winning positions against good teams but dumb decisions and poor coaching down the stretch have hurt us... as the year goes on you would expect these problems to be somewhat ironed out. If we really are close to these good teams then we should do nothing less than come out tomorrow and easily dispose of the Wolves and start improving the W/L record with out easier schedule coming up, if not then a long season ahead!

We lost. Spurs played poorly and we failed to seal the deal. That's that. Nets looked impressive in certain games last year too.
New games on new days. Hope they band together better.

Who gives a crap about heart. That group out there was a bunch scrubs. This was suppose to be a championship contender, not some stupid underdog sports team movie. The team as currently assembled will not work, there is no defense. So glad Brooks is out, most overrated pg ever. Ish Smith, the scrub who can't shoot getting 14 shots? Wow, that's some heart.

This saving Yao for the playoffs stuff? Give me a break. There won't be playoffs with the way things are going. You can't be a leader of a team with bench minutes. You take a leader out and this is what you get, a headless team. Play Yao his regular minutes, if he breaks down, good riddance, rebuilt. Experiment over.

Everybody was talking championship, now we are happy our scrubs are playing with heart. Good grief.

Are you proud of everyone on this team top to bottom?

I'm not. But I can say I was proud of the unit out there tonight.

 Just accept its a down season and we wont make playoffs but we get a Top 3 Talent in the draft. I wouldn't mind tanking at this stage. Our team doesn't look mentally tough enough to deal with late game situations and the 24 minute Yao thing isnt working.
