Just a random thought, Houston has some of the most rabid, devoted, long-suffering fans in the world. They really deserve better than what they have gotten from the sad-sack franchises that have been in the city. The Rockets brought two championships, the high point of sports in Houston. Les got credit, he didn't have anything to do with it. Essentially, since he took over the Rockets have wondered in the wilderness, going essentially nowhere. The other sports organizations in the city are too depressing to talk about.
Some people dont take criticism well. Your team is not winning. Thats not a backhanded remark. Thats a observation. Certain players since last year have been not good on the Rockets. Some people point that out. The fans who like to keep the team in their own vision? Attack any criticism of that team because its exactly how they want thier team run. Some people want a team better than 0-3 and some are content with how they have their team. Both still cheer when they win. There hasnt been any winning. If the team had some losses and mostly wins. Nobody would be talking. Its been only losses though. Some people cant take their plans looking bad or decisions. So they defend it if others say it is wrong.
