Brooks is what he is. Don't expect he could become someone else...

There is a clear leadership and hierarchy in New Orleans, and in LA, there is still not one in Houston.

Trevor struggles with this, he is one of those guys you have to put in a box and keep him there.

Yes, and with Trevor and Shane occupying the same role we only had room for 1....and we kept the one that had the expiring contract.

    Great move by the organization.

Another side effect of the Ariza trade is that there are no minutes for Brooks and Lowry to play together if they want Lee to play. Lee has shown some flashes, but unless they plan on moving Martin, finding time for Lee means no time for Brooks at the shooting guard spot, where he did a decent amount of his scoring last year.

Aaron Brooks is the REAL PROBLEM Rockets are playing bad

Yes, it's Aaron Brooks. He's NOT a pass first point guard. He's a shooting guard stuck in a point guard's body. He's weak, too small, and he's another Bobby Jackson. Aaron Brooks IS NOT starter material. He should come off the bench. He's a poor man's Iverson at best.

Rockets need someone like Derrick Rose at the point guard position if they want to go far. Enough said.

Me. I like Brooks, I don't think he is the best point guard in the NBA but he can work on things. Though you really think a trade will rid all problems? I don't think it will.... And it's only been 4 games.

And Derrick Rose isn't a bad idea but doesn't he shoo just as much or maybe even more than Brooks?t

LOL If we had Derrick Rose and we are 0-4 I wouldn't be upset. Fact is Brooks aint no Rose. Not even 1/10th the defender Rose is,and Rose isnt that Elite of a defender.

I'd like to echo this quote and also add that I think it's funny when someone goes off on some weak, half-cocked diatribe and caps off his own piece with: enough said. That's a real power move there. Enough said.

I find it funny that the person Aaron disliked the most on the team was the player that allowed him to play in his best role.

I remember when we had brooks , lowry and Ariza in at the same time and we where shutting people down.

Kyle and Trevor providing the defense on the perimeter and Aaron was providing the scoring.

We have to find that same Balance again.

Superstar point guards are not common.

For every Derrick Rose or CP3 or Derron Willliams, you see a dozen of average PGs. Right now, Brooks is the best we have, so stop crying over fairy tail trades for superstars and move on.

The best we could get for Brooks would be Gilbert Arenas and who wants to go down that road.
