Will Daryl Morey make a major trade before January?

Man, I have been saying that for years.....Morey has been great, but this is his team, he is the one that put it together.

He put a bunch of cheap contracts with 2nd round skills and magically they look good because their are no other stars to compare to on this team. He refuses to extend contracts to give some comfort to our good players.

DM runs this team like a real Corporate business, continue to treat your employee's like trash, they won't play hard or get with the system. If your best players on the team are not being rewarded, what do the rest of the average players feel? This constant lineup change is horrible and announcing that everybody is available for trade is just the cherry on top.

What do the Clippers and Rockets have in common? They only care about the bottomline. They figure, Rockets can put up average season and continue to make money, so why worry about it.

 

damn i thought Melo was considering us as his no.1 option a while back...

 

My thoughts exactly. He makes alot of mistakes but he gives them exactly what they need to match up with athletic bigs in the West.

Unfortunately even that wont be enough if Hill still has to guard 2 post players because Scola cannot guard anyone to save a life. Him and Brooks are the worst defensive players in the NBA right now.

If anyone on this board thinks Im wrong then watch the first four games again and just watch them on defense and forget about offense. Martin surprisingly has not been that bad because he actually stays with his man now.

 

I expect an earth shattering move from Morey but it may not be what most think.

 

I think DM would like to make a trade, and I think the rest of the league knows that.

So, I don't expect too much to happen in the way of a huge trade.
