Did you know Yao didn't turn the ball over this game.

So much for more shooting drill at TC court

Heck even the trigger happy Trevor was tamed/controlled by CP3

Oh no i regret we didnt trade for him during the summer?

Maybe you should take your Yao-hate glasses off. Yao may turn the ball over but it is no worse than any other player on the team. Look at the numbers. Are problem is guard play. No one can control the team, and they have a terrible shot selection.

In '06-'07, the Mavericks started 0-4.

They ended up 67-15. Just saying.

This team is frustrating as hell. Every game it is the same story, good first half, bad 3rd quarter, lose in the final minutes of the 4th, every. single. time. I am over this, things must be fixed now, I was making the argument before that the season is still young, which it is, but I can't take it anymore. I want to punch a hole in the wall watching this team in the second half. At least now people will realize that Battier is not the problem on this team, it is the entire team as a whole.

We also lost because of Morey. The blame is squarely on Morey. He traded our athletic players away Ariza and Landry for a one dimensional unathletic team. You have to have athletes to keep up with the rest of the league. Ariza haters didnt see that. Landry lovers got it though. You have to have some sort of athleticism to be able to stick with teams late. Landry and Ariza is too much if you arent starting Budinger and or Courtney Lee somewhere in the lineup to not be too slow for every other team in the league and too unathletic.

I know. I just dont know how we are going to fix this. I really thought the Adleman offense would be flowing from game one. Boy was I wrong.

    Why was AB ejected?

JHill played well. I hope he'll learn how to block shots with soft hands, without swatting the ball (Emeka-style) to the other team's knock-down shooters for inadvertent assists. Still, I'd rather watch his full-speed mistakes than... a lot of what we watched tonight.

Is BM injured? If so, could we suit Ish instead?

I like Shane. I'd rather he not play, though. I'd rather start Bud. Maybe Courtney Lee could play some 3, too--we need him on the floor a little more.

Great offensive team in Houston but has the worst defense in the league.

Why does this sound so familiar....

Houston professional sports - where mediocrity is continually tolerated by the owners.

i'm referring to a coaching blowup. not necessarily personnel. it's clear that adelman has no idea wtf to do to get this group to gel.

Their plan to play Chris Paul was 100% incorrect, you make him a shooter and guard the rest of the team tight.......he will not be able to keep them in it himself, but when you double him on the high screen he will pick you apart.

And we were coming out and showing hard on the pick....100% the WRONG defense to guard him....

This coaching staff is screwing the pooch right now.

All this talk about having a closer/superstar. Its not that simple. Superstars are needed when the game breaks down, or when the game is on the line and you need someone to hit tough inhuman shots like what CP3 hit. However a superstar is not a cure-all to the problems because a lot of teams have a superstar of their own.

The bigger problem we have is coaching and execution. Instead of bringing out the best in players, we're bringing out the flaws. It took 3 games before RA even bothered to play Hill, and in a game where Scola is stinking it up he didn't search for other options like Patterson. We have depth, and the players' skill level is near each other. If someone isn't playing well, its better to switch them out instead of sticking with the guy.

NO creamed us in the 2nd half. Once again the enemy countered our opening salvo and we didn't have any answers. LOL Gundy-ball was ugly as hell but at least everybody knew what they were supposed to do on the court. RA has all this talent on the team but doesn't know what he's supposed to do with it.
