its not the coach, its not the rotation, its not not having a closer...we gave up 64 points in the second half...its the defense which is letting us down. 110 points in la, 128 in golden state, scored enough vs denver to win at home...we foul too much (look at the discrepancy tonight) our guards suck vs. the pick and roll and in their 1 on 1 defense etc. stop talking offense, start talking about what we need to improve to win...defense...and not a new coach either...thats stupid too...he is one of the best if not the best coach in the nba!!!
If he's the best coach in the NBA, we can't he figure out that it's the defense? Why the hell is he allergic to playing our best player tonight, Jordan Hill?????!!!!!!
If it's the defense then how can you expect us to improve on that since the same guys who are playing offense also have to play defense?
stop with the jordan hill nonsense...he played like 26 minutes...what you dont want to play yao at all?
It is 100% the rotation. We are playing too many guys, too many different combinations, guys don't know where to go on offense or defense. They don't know how to play together...too many people playing. DD
Defense? Your starting a slow unathletic moving 7'6 asian center with a slow fiesty unathletic moving Argentine power forward and we talking about defene in the paint? Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin have body frames like teenage girls. Battier he just sucks!
Dude, but we have Mr. Intangibles on our side... the one-and-only defensive force, Shane Battier. He's most definitely the worst starting SF in the NBA, but hey, at least he's respectable, hard-working, and smart. All Hail the Teflon Don... .
playing ten guys is too many, but its the only way to find out what fits together...adelmans first year we had like a five or six game losing streak early in the year and still won like 57 games or so
They're not making, as a collective, "winning" plays. Finishing up the defense by getting the defensive rebound, not boxing out, leaving players wide open, transition defense after a quick shot and miss, etc ... They are making a lot of mistakes. Too many times they make errors that at this point of their careers they should not be making. Their play tonight reminded me of a very young team learning the NBA and they are not that kind of team.
