Does everyone realize that with a decent season record against the Brewers we'd probably be going to the playoffs. The Brew Crew has basically been the reason we'll be home next month. What a joke.

Too bad for Roy too. I really hope he beats the Giants this weekend and picks up # 20. He deserves it.

isn't he like 0-3 vs. the brewers this year? it seems they're his achilles' heel. he definitely deserves #20, i also hope he keeps his era under 3 for the season.

so is everyone here of the opinion that oswalt will be given his last start on the last day of the season? seeing as he is on my fantasy team, i'm a little worried they won't risk injuring him since we aren't going to the playoffs and thus won't let him start. however, the fact he is going for #20 should definitely play into the decision and it will be on a normal 5 days of rest. so people more in tune with williams thinking than me, will he get the start?

I'm sure he will but he threw a ton of innings tonight to try to get this win so he might not be fresh for his next start. The box score says he threw 126 pitches, probably his highest pitch total of the year.

I believe that Jimy Williams has already stated that he will give Roy this start. So I suppose unless there is some change (Roy is injured, etc) he will get his chance at 20 wins.

I was at the game tonight. Roy only made 2 mistakes all night. One was a first inning double (the runner later scored). The other was a 2 run HR to Matt Stairs. Other than that he had a really good outing.

It started to rain at about 6:40. The weather reports at 5:30 had shown no rain in the area so they were not ready for it. They put the tarp down and waited for a little shower to blow over. It didn't and at 6:50 they started to move the roof.

This delayed a pregame award ceremony, so the game didn't start until 7:20...hence the rain delay.
