    Okay it's a joke but we are playing so pathetic right now. I am so diappointed in this team. Trading Arriza was a mistake. He brought defense at a position we needed it. Biggest problem we are slow on defense. Battier is just above average defender not great. But he is now officially slow and terrible on offense.

    Yao Ming isn't even playing 24 minutes might as well not start him. We have ton of assets. If we are not rebuilding then make a trade. At this point I do not even care if it's a 1 year deal just do something. Where's the silver lining? I don't see it. We are a poor defensive team. We have a lot of players who are equally good. Our best player is still Martin. Yes more than Scola. The league will catch up to scola they actually did tonight. Bud never makes the big plays. The one thing is at least they shortened the rotation a bit. ANd Hill is playing over Miller. I guess the Miller project is over already. That is good if he improves.

    The Rockets have too much talent to tank. The Pacers were in the same position last year also.

    Pretty much.

    Seriously, it may be time to start considering this. I know 78 games to go blah blah blah...

    But even if we get into the playoffs how far can we go? This continues (and I really think it will continue.) Rockets will need to think about rebuilding. The best way to do that is to get a top 5 pick.

    Well if Morey is unable to acquire a star through a trade which frankly I'm doubting that, I would agree that we need to tank. This team isn't gonna get any better without a star and if we can't trade for one we need to draft one.

    Exactly. Every playoff team has one of these players, and the Elite teams have players who are a lock to make an all NBA team.

    We have neither. We have a bunch of role players ready to surround a star.
