Friday 7pm Espn Weather: 60 @ kickoff suppose to drop to 49 later that night. Line: Central Florida -2 over/under 61.5 First Big win for Piland UCF 30 Coogs 41
^^^what he said... I'd like to think we're there, but the sad fact is we're not...but... GO COOGS!!!!
All of you can kiss my big red cougar a$$. Coogs win big/ mass orgy breaks out in student seaction. Book it.
I'd love to pick the Coogs, but I'm not sure that I can. I agree with the earlier poster who said that UH struggles against teams that want to play physical. UCF is going to want to run the ball. That's their offensive calling card and it also happens to be UH's achilles heel on defense. With all the adversity they have endured this season, UH still really has all of their (realistic) goals in front of them. A C-USA championship and the Liberty Bowl that goes along with it. Some wanted to say that this team could be a potential BCS buster, but I think that was mostly wishful thinking.
Pretty empty stadium...especially an ESPN game. Houston's notorious late arriving fans? Or is that common for the coogs? I'm honestly curious, never been to and have never watched a coogs game.
This season has been amazingly good for attendance even after Keenum's injury. I think if this had been a Saturday game with slightly warmer weather attendance would be better. I didn't get out of work until almost 7 and just wanted to go straight home so I didn't go to the game.
Nearly intercepted. That should have been the game ending pick. That guy just flat dropped it. Nice catch to keep the game going on 4th down.... But WTF do you run the ball...1 min left...NO TIME OUTS. Dumb ass decision by the UH coach.
haha Kills me to think what this team could do if they even had a mediocre defense. I think Piland's gonna turn out alright.
I love excuses, as well as the novel idea that your team is the only one that suffers injuries throughout a season. Depth is a part of the game, champ.
Not an excuse...but when you lose your Heisman contending QB for the season, that's a pretty big blow, depth or not. Can you name another team that lost it's starting QB AND it's backup QB in the same game? And both for the remainder of the season? I didn't think the stadium was that bad...apparently it was sold out but it wasn't filled to capacity. Probably somewhere between half-full and 3/4. Crowd was pretty well into it though.
