Another thought arose, what happens to the fans who don't live in Houston, are they basically screwed (like me). I mean, last time I checked, doesn't ABC only cover like 4-7 games? And where are ESPN 1 & 2 in all this? If anyone has any insight, speak up, otherwise I'll be reading the game recaps for practically every game, 'cept ones against Pheonix that is. alan
Over here in Tucson, with everything, (digital Cable, ext.) the total comes out to be almost $150 a month, thats kinda unfair!
i pay just the cable bill, plus an extra $150 for league pass. the $150 gets split monthly over the course of the season.
Sure paying a $150 kinda sucks but us Rocket fans not in Houston have to suck it up and do what we gotta do to see our beloved Rox in action. I had season tix last yr. but now that I don't live in Htown anymore its league pass all the way.
In Austin, my DIRECTV satelite bill is $33.99/month including tax. League Pass is $149 for the season spread over 3 monthly payments. I don't consider this expensive but realize this is a personal value judgement. I moved to Houston in the early eighties and "adopted" the Rockets. Although the Rockets are my favorite team, I also like to watch the Celtics (they have Heinsohn and occassionally The Couz as commentators), the Nets, Hornets, Magic, Kings, Clipps, and TWolves. It's also great to be able to root against the Jazz! Even if you only watched the Rockets, it's slighty over a buck eighty per game. That's some pretty cheap PPV!
I even got the only other die-hard Rockets fan in my little corner of the world to pay half the LeaguePass. Makes it cheaper and gives you a nice visit with another cheering fan!
WyoRox - I have relatives in Casper and Ten Sleep who would probably chip in, but unfortunately they're pretty far away from you. Another idea is buy the NBA LP and have your friends buy the pizza and/or the beer!
I don't think they get nba pass in Canada..I get the NFL ticket, but I WANT MY ROCKETS, DAMMMIT! Anyone can help?

The only problem is that I am the only Rocks fan here, everyone else likes the fakers or the suns, both obviously pathetic teams. But I can try and work somethign out.
Well if you can get WWE stuff out (oot for Canadians) there, then why can't you get Rocks? Which is better to watch, WWE or Rocks..... hmmm.... That sounds like a thread idea......
