The Oxford English Dictionary just started a campaign to save good but little used words. You can go to the site and adopt a word. http://www.savethewords.org/ I picked molrowing, which could be rescued from oblivion by just a few Hangout threads.
The less words the better. Do you really need 10 different ways to say the same thing? Nah brah. Nah.
I adopted Pseudisodomous. Say that quickly three times. And get your mind out of the gutters - it's an architectural construction term for building a wall using stones of different thickness.
I'm willing to give it a try, but I don't see how using an archaic word on a message board or even in conversation with friends will ever make it plebicolar.
